Art buffs, get ya money up!

The iconic portrait, created in 1984 to celebrate the massive popularity of Jackson's Thriller album ... is expected to fetch much more than its starting price of $800,000 U.S.

800 stacks?!? For that?!? Obviously, I'm no art expert, 'cause this shit looks like somebody scribble-scrabbled on an MJ photo. Gimme a magazine and some colored pencils and I could do the same damn thing.

For the record, though, Warhol paintings always go for tens of millions of dollars. His Orange Marilyn went for $17.3 mil in 2006, his Lemon Marilyn went for $28 mil, and his Elizabeth Taylor portrait went for $23.7 mil. He painted a car crash once and it sold for an orgasm-inducing $71.7 mil!!

Art collection is big business, even when it doesn't make sense.
